Virginia High School Soccer - North Cross nudged by Blue Ridge
October 11, 2024: St. George, VA 22935 Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting North Cross Raiders (Roanoke, VA), 2-1 in a league test.
With the triumph, Blue Ridge moves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Barons host Fishburne Military (Waynesboro, VA) to clash with the Caissons in a Blue Ridge Athletic test on Monday, October 14. The Caissons come into the test with a record of 1-8. Fishburne Military lost 10-0 in their recent league test against New Covenant (Lynchburg, VA)
The Raiders now sport a 13-2 record. They take the field next when they host Roanoke Valley Christian for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 15.
