October 11, 2024: Zumbrota, MN 55992 Zumbrota-Mazeppa Cougars (Zumbrota, MN) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Blaine Bengals (Blaine, MN), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Zumbrota-Mazeppa improves its record to 11-10 on the season. The Cougars travel to Canby (Canby, MN) to face the Lancers in a non-league test on Friday, October 11. The Lancers go into the test with a record of 19-5. Canby won 3-0 in their recent league test against Lakeview (Cottonwood, MN)
The Bengals now own a 9-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Legacy Christian Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, October 12. Blaine will face a Lions squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Tracy-Milroy-Balaton (Tracy, MN). The Lions record now stands at 13-8.
