Maryland High School Football - Archbishop Curley thwarted by Severn School

October 11, 2025: Baltimore, MD 21213

Severn School Admirals (Severna Park, MD) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Archbishop Curley Friars (Baltimore, MD), 35-16 in a league test.

The Admirals now hold a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host St. Paul's for a non-league test on Saturday, October 18. Severn School will meet a Crusaders squad coming off a 27-26 non-league win over Pallotti (Laurel, MD). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-1.

With the defeat, Archbishop Curley drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Friars host Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Baltimore, MD) to face the Cougars in a challenge on Friday, October 17. The Cougars go into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Our Lady of Mount Carmel lost 24-0 in their recent league challenge against Boys Latin (Baltimore, MD)
