Maryland High School Football - Central falls to Gwynn Park

October 11, 2025: Capitol Heights, MD 20743

The Gwynn Park Yellowjackets felled the host Central Falcons football squad by a margin of 37-28 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Crossland for a Class 2A East test on Saturday, October 18. Gwynn Park will face a Cavaliers team coming off a 14-7 league win over Fairmont Heights (Capitol Heights, MD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 3-3.

The Falcons (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Largo (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Lions come into the non-league outing with a 2-4 record. In their last outing, Largo was defeated by Douglass (Upper Marlboro, MD), 20-0, in a league outing.
