In Saturday's non-league game, the Mohave Accelerated Patriots (Bullhead City, AZ) football team were victorious over the host El Capitan Eagles (Colorado City, AZ), by a tally of 28-14.

In their next game, the Patriots face the Desert Heights Prep Yote (Glendale, AZ) in a 1A West (8 Man) outing, on Friday, October 17. Mohave Accelerated will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Yote come into the outing with a 6-2 record after their 54-6 league win over Valley Lutheran (Phoenix, AZ).
