October 11, 2025: Fredericksburg, VA 22407 The St. Michael the Archangel Warriors football squad scored 62 points and limited the visiting Hayfield Hawks to 21 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Warriors now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodberry Forest for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 18. St. Michael the Archangel will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 20-14 league win over St. Christopher's (Richmond, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 4-1.
With the defeat, Hayfield falls to 1-5 on the year. The Hawks host Annandale (Annandale, VA) to face the Atoms in a District 5 game on Friday, October 17. The Atoms enter the game with a record of 2-5. Annandale lost 22-14 in their recent league game against Edison (Alexandria, VA)
