Michigan High School Football - Lapeer overwhelmed by Lincoln-Way West
October 11, 2025: Lapeer, MI 48446 The Lincoln-Way West Warriors walloped the host Lapeer Lightning football squad by a margin of 49-7 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Warriors now sport a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they host Bradley-Bourbonnais for a Southwest Valley - Red test on Friday, October 17. Lincoln-Way West will face a Boilermakers team coming off a 48-19 league win over DeKalb (DeKalb, IL). The Boilermakers record now stands at 6-1.
The Lightning (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Dow (Midland, MI). The Chargers enter the non-league game with a 6-1 record. In their last game, Dow overwhelmed Central (Bay City, MI), 48-0, in a league game.
