New Jersey High School Football - Nottingham thwarted by Princeton
October 11, 2025: Princeton, NJ 08540 Princeton Tigers (Princeton, NJ) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Nottingham Northstars (Hamilton, NJ), 20-7 in a non-league test.
The Tigers now hold a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Trenton Central for a West Jersey - Valley test on Friday, October 17. Princeton will meet a Tornadoes squad coming off a 28-22 non-league win over Northern Burlington (Columbus, NJ). The Tornadoes record now stands at 4-3.
With the defeat, Nottingham drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Northstars travel to Notre Dame (Lawrenceville, NJ) to play the Irish in a West Jersey - Capitol challenge on Thursday, October 16. The Irish go into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Notre Dame lost 27-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Paul VI (Haddonfield, NJ)
