California High School Flag Football - Piedmont can't hold off Redwood
October 11, 2025: Larkspur, CA 94939 Redwood Giants (Larkspur, CA) followers went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their flag football team tip the visiting Piedmont Highlanders (Piedmont, CA), 13-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Redwood advances its record to 7-9 on the season. The Giants host San Marin (Novato, CA) to play the Mustangs in a Marin County Athletic battle on Monday, October 13. The Mustangs go into the battle with a record of 10-3. San Marin lost 26-0 in their recent non-league battle against Alameda (Alameda, CA)
The Highlanders now own a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to San Leandro for a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 14. Piedmont will play a Pirates team coming off a 28-18 league win over Hayward (Hayward, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 6-7.
