New York High School Soccer - Mayfield nudged by Waterford-Halfmoon
October 11, 2025: Mayfield, NY 12117 Waterford-Halfmoon Fordians (Waterford, NY) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Mayfield Panthers (Mayfield, NY), 3-2 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Waterford-Halfmoon moves its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Fordians travel to Greenville (Greenville, NY) to confront the Spartans in a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 14. The Spartans enter the outing with a record of 12-2. Greenville won 9-1 in their recent league outing against Catskill (Catskill, NY)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville Wolves (St. Johnsville, NY) in a Western Athletic- Northern test, on Wednesday, October 15. Mayfield will attempt to move on its 10-5 season record. The Wolves come into the test with a 10-3 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Greenwich (Greenwich, NY).
