Massachusetts High School Football - Pentucket Regional can't hold off Newburyport
October 11, 2025: Newburyport, MA 01950 Newburyport Clippers (Newburyport, MA) followers went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Pentucket Regional (West Newbury, MA), 14-12 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Newburyport advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Clippers host Lynnfield (Lynnfield, MA) to play the Pioneers in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 18. The Pioneers go into the battle with a record of 2-1. Lynnfield won 34-6 in their recent non-league battle against Triton Regional (Byfield, MA)
The now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Essex North Shore Agric & Tech School for a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 18. Pentucket Regional will play a Hawks team coming off a 36-6 non-league win over North Reading (North Reading, MA). The Hawks record now stands at 1-0.
