California High School Football - Villa Park tops Portola
October 11, 2025: Villa Park, CA 92861 The Villa Park Spartans football team scored 27 points and restricted the visiting Portola Bulldogs to 7 in the Spartans non-league win on Saturday.
In their next game, the Spartans face the Corona del Mar Sea Kings (Newport Beach, CA) in a challenge, on Thursday, October 16. Villa Park will attempt to improve on its 4-0 season record. The Sea Kings go into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 21-7 league win over Newport Harbor (Newport Beach, CA).
With the defeat, Portola drops to 5-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Pacifica (Garden Grove, CA) to meet the Mariners in a test on Friday, October 31. The Mariners come into the test with a record of 0-4. Pacifica lost 38-15 in their recent league test against Woodbridge (Irvine, CA)
