October 11, 2025: Kettering, OH 45429 Fairmont Firebirds (Kettering, OH) boosters went home in high spirits Saturday as they observed their soccer squad nudge the visiting Perrysburg Yellow Jackets (Perrysburg, OH), 1-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Fairmont advances its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Firebirds travel to Loveland (Loveland, OH) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 14. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-3.
With the loss, Perrysburg moves to 3-2 on the year. The Yellow jackets host Springfield (Holland, OH) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 15. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 6-4. Springfield won 2-1 in their recent non-league game against Bowling Green (Bowling Green, OH)
