October 11, 2025: Coronado, CA 92118 Coronado Islanders (Coronado, CA) supporters were in high spirits Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad notch a victory over the visiting Escondido Cougars (Escondido, CA), 2-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Coronado improves its record to 14-7 on the season. The Islanders travel to Canyon Crest Academy (San Diego, CA) to encounter the Ravens in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 11. The Ravens go into the battle with a record of 7-0. Canyon Crest Academy won 2-0 in their recent league battle against Vista (Vista, CA)
The Cougars now own a 7-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Canyon Crest Academy for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 11. Escondido will battle a Ravens team coming off a 2-0 league win over Vista (Vista, CA). The Ravens record now stands at 7-0.
