Kansas High School Soccer - Augusta toppled by Tonganoxie
October 11, 2025: Tonganoxie, KS 66086 Tonganoxie Chieftains (Tonganoxie, KS) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Augusta Orioles (Augusta, KS), 6-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Tonganoxie moves its record to 5-5 on the year. The Chieftains host Basehor-Linwood (Basehor, KS) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 14. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 3-8. Basehor-Linwood won 5-1 in their recent league test against Leavenworth (Leavenworth, KS)
The Orioles now have a 2-9 record. They take the field next when they host McPherson for a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division III-IV test on Tuesday, October 14. Augusta will clash with a Bullpups team coming off a 8-0 league win over Circle (Towanda, KS). The Bullpups record now stands at 6-5.
