Reese Rockets (Reese, MI) boosters were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Almont Raiders (Almont, MI), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Rockets (19-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Marlette (Marlette, MI). The Red Raiders come into the non-league challenge with a 13-8 record. In their last challenge, Marlette beat Harbor Beach (Harbor Beach, MI), 3-0, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Raiders face the Croswell-Lexington Pioneers (Croswell, MI) in a non-league test, on Saturday, October 11. Almont will attempt to advance on its 5-17 season record. The Pioneers go into the test with a 15-15 record after their 3-0 league loss to Yale (Yale, MI).
