October 11, 2025: Los Angeles, CA 90047 Laguna Hills Hawks (Laguna Hills, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Animo South Los Angeles Panthers (Los Angeles, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Laguna Hills improves its record to 5-15 on the season. The Hawks travel to Walnut (Walnut, CA) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 11. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 13-16. Walnut won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Paramount (Paramount, CA)
Next, the Panthers meet the Pacifica Mariners (Garden Grove, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 11. Animo South Los Angeles will attempt to improve on its 0-12 season record. The Mariners go into the test with a 10-14 record after their 3-0 league loss to Villa Park (Villa Park, CA).
