October 11, 2025: Canton, IL 61520 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Augusta Southeastern Suns (Augusta, IL) and the host Canton Little Giants (Canton, IL), observed Augusta Southeastern's volleyball team overcome Canton by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Augusta Southeastern improves its record to 22-5 on the season. The Suns travel to Monmouth-Roseville (Monmouth, IL) to face the Titans in a non-league test on Saturday, October 11. The Titans go into the test with a record of 7-19. Monmouth-Roseville lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Illini West (Carthage, IL)
The Little Giants now own a 2-21 record. They play next when they travel to Dunlap for a Mid-Illini challenge on Tuesday, October 14. Canton will meet a Eagles team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Galesburg (Galesburg, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 19-7.
