The Central Bearcats volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Waverly Warriors to 0 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Bearcats now have a 2-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Calhoun Christian for a non-league game on Saturday, October 18. Central will confront a Cougars squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Athens (Athens, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 17-12.
