In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Ellensburg Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Davis Pirates.

The Bulldogs (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against East Valley (Yakima, WA). The Red Devils come into the 2A CWAC challenge with a 7-6 record. In their last challenge, East Valley beat Cle Elum-Roslyn (Cle Elum, WA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Pirates meet the Moses Lake Mavericks (Moses Lake, WA) in a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 challenge, on Tuesday, October 14. Davis will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Mavericks come into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 3-1 league win over Sunnyside (Sunnyside, WA).
