The Mariposa County Grizzlies volleyball squad (Mariposa, CA), dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Downey Knights (Modesto, CA)

With the win, Downey moves its record to 24-9 on the year. The Knights travel to Lincoln (Stockton, CA) to battle the Trojans in a non-league contest on Saturday, October 11. The Trojans enter the contest with a record of 7-8. Lincoln won 3-0 in their recent league contest against West (Tracy, CA)

In their next game, the Grizzlies encounter the Waterford Wildcats (Waterford, CA) in a Southern League battle, on Monday, October 13. Mariposa County will attempt to improve on its 22-8 season record. The Wildcats go into the battle with a 4-16 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Yerba Buena (San Jose, CA).
