Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

The Cougars (11-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Del Norte (San Diego, CA). The Nighthawks come into the non-league challenge with a 11-11 record. In their last challenge, Del Norte beat Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Highlanders meet the Santana Sultans (Santee, CA) in a Grossmont Hills challenge, on Thursday, October 16. Helix will attempt to upgrade on its 8-17 season record.
