Hillsboro Trojans (Hillsboro, KS) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Minneapolis Lions (Minneapolis, KS), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Hillsboro improves its record to 26-9 on the season. The Trojans host Rock Creek (St. George, KS) to face the Mustangs in a non-league test on Saturday, October 11. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 25-4. Rock Creek won 2-0 in their recent league test against Wamego (Wamego, KS)

The Lions now own a 14-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Republic County for a North Central AA challenge on Tuesday, October 14. Minneapolis will meet a Buffaloes team coming off a 0-0 league Lyons (Lyons, KS). The Buffaloes record now stands at 11-20.
