In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting New Albany Bulldogs volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Homestead Spartans.

The Bulldogs (20-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Southwood (Wabash, IN). The Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 23-2 record. In their last challenge, Southwood got by Lewis Cass (Walton, IN), 3-0, in a league test.

The Spartans now own a 20-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southwood for a non-league test on Saturday, October 11. Homestead will face a Knights squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Lewis Cass (Walton, IN). The Knights record now stands at 23-2.
