October 11, 2025: Stillwater, MN 55082 Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted Lakers (Howard Lake, MN) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host St. Croix Prep Lions (Stillwater, MN), 2-0 in a non-league test.
The Lakers (16-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Como Park (St. Paul, MN). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 9-13 record. In their last test, Como Park went down by Richfield (Richfield, MN), 3-0, in a non-league test.
The Lions now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Lutheran for a non-league test on Saturday, October 11. St. Croix Prep will face a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to PACT Charter (Ramsey, MN). The Warriors record now stands at 8-15.
