Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish (San Francisco, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Leland Chargers (San Jose, CA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Fightin' Irish (16-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Valley Christian (San Jose, CA). The Warriors come into the West Catholic challenge with a 14-5 record. In their last challenge, Valley Christian lost by Aragon (San Mateo, CA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Chargers play the Evergreen Valley Cougars (San Jose, CA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, October 11. Leland will attempt to advance on its 19-5 season record. The Cougars go into the test with a 13-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Leigh (San Jose, CA).
