October 11, 2025: San Francisco, CA 94109 Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish (San Francisco, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Leland Chargers (San Jose, CA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Fightin' Irish (16-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Valley Christian (San Jose, CA). The Warriors come into the West Catholic challenge with a 14-5 record. In their last challenge, Valley Christian lost by Aragon (San Mateo, CA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Chargers play the Evergreen Valley Cougars (San Jose, CA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, October 11. Leland will attempt to advance on its 19-5 season record. The Cougars go into the test with a 13-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Leigh (San Jose, CA).
