October 11, 2025: Long Lake, MN 55356 Minnetonka Skippers (Minnetonka, MN) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Orono Spartans (Long Lake, MN), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Minnetonka improves its record to 19-7 on the season. The Skippers host Wayzata (Plymouth, MN) to meet the Trojans in a Lake challenge on Tuesday, October 14. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 15-10. Wayzata won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Monticello (Monticello, MN)
Next, the Spartans meet the Rosemount Irish (Rosemount, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 11. Orono will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Irish go into the test with a 11-12 record after their 3-0 league loss to Lakeville South (Lakeville, MN).
