Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the North Branch Vikings (North Branch, MN) and the visiting Providence Academy Lions (Plymouth, MN), saw North Branch's volleyball squad notch a victory over Providence Academy by a score of 2-0.

With the win, North Branch improves its record to 13-9 on the season. The Vikings travel to Chisago Lakes Area (Lindstrom, MN) to encounter the Wildcats in a Mississippi 8 battle on Tuesday, October 14. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 15-8. Chisago Lakes Area won 3-2 in their recent league battle against Big Lake (Big Lake, MN)
