The Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm (Sauk Rapids, MN) volleyball overcame the host Stillwater Ponies (Stillwater, MN), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest.

The Storm (21-2) will now prepare for their contest against St. Cloud Tech (St. Cloud, MN). The Tigers enter the Central Lakes contest with a 18-4 record. In their last contest, St. Cloud Tech notched a victory over Little Falls (Little Falls, MN), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

The Ponies now own a 16-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Park for a Suburban East battle on Saturday, October 11. Stillwater will encounter a Wolfpack squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Irondale (New Brighton, MN). The Wolfpack record now stands at 1-17.
