New York High School Football - Griffith Institute topples Alden
October 12, 2021: Alden, NY 14004 The Griffith Institute Griffins (Springville, NY) football defeated the host Alden Bulldogs (Alden, NY), 24-12 in Tuesday's league bout.
In their next game, the Griffins face the Kennedy Bears (Cheektowaga, NY) in a Section 6 C - Central bout, on Saturday, October 16. Griffith Institute will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Bears enter the bout with a 2-4 record after their 24-6 non-league win over Cleveland Hill (Cheektowaga, NY).
The Bulldogs (1-5) will now prepare for their bout against Wilson (Wilson, NY). The Lakemen enter the non-league bout with a 3-3 record. In their last bout, Wilson was toppled by Medina (Medina, NY), 44-13, in a league bout.
