Maryland High School Soccer - Barrie held off by St. Anselm's Abbey
October 12, 2021: Silver Spring, MD 20906 The St. Anselm's Abbey Panthers held off the host Barrie soccer squad by a margin of 1-0 in Tuesday's non-league match.
The Panthers now sport a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Sandy Spring Friends for a Potomac Valley match on Friday, October 15. St. Anselm's Abbey will encounter a Wildebeests squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Washington International (Washington, DC). The Wildebeests record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Barrie drops to 0-1 on the season. The travel to Field (Washington, DC) to encounter the Falcons in a non-league match on Thursday, October 21. The Falcons come into the match with a record of 2-7.
