October 12, 2022: Covina, CA 91723 The Garey Vikings volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Covina Colts to 2 in the Vikings non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Vikings now have a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to La Puente for a Miramonte game on Thursday, October 13. Garey will meet a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Pomona (Pomona, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 0-10.
The Colts (9-17) will now prepare for their game against Charter Oak (Covina, CA). The Chargers enter the Valle Vista game with a 7-7 record. In their last game, Charter Oak nipped Diamond Ranch (Pomona, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
