October 12, 2023: Stephan, SD 57346 Lower Brule Sioux (Lower Brule, SD) fans left the game satisfied Thursday as they observed their football team rout the host Crow Creek Chieftains (Stephan, SD), 50-0 in a league test.
With the win, Lower Brule improves its record to 6-0 on the season. The Sioux travel to Omaha Nation (Macy, NE) to confront the Chiefs in a non-league test on Thursday, October 19. The Chiefs go into the test with a record of 5-1. Omaha Nation won 54-0 in their recent non-league test against Marty Indian (Marty, SD)
With the loss, Crow Creek moves to 3-2 on the season. The Chieftains host Tiospa Zina (Agency Village, SD) to confront the Wambdi in a All-Nations - Central (9 Man) test on Thursday, October 19. The Wambdi go into the test with a record of 5-1. Tiospa Zina won 60-0 in their recent league test against Flandreau Indian (Flandreau, SD)
