October 12, 2023: Maysville, KY 41056 The Grant County Braves football team (Dry Ridge, KY), was ripped 50-6 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Mason County Royals (Maysville, KY)
The Royals (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Covington Catholic (Park Hills, KY). The Colonels come into the 4A District 5 challenge with a 8-0 record. In their last challenge, Covington Catholic trounced Harrison County (Cynthiana, KY), 56-6, in a league challenge.
The Braves now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Thomas Nelson for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 20. Grant County will meet a Generals team coming off a 30-25 league loss to Breckinridge County (Harned, KY). The Generals record now stands at 1-7.
