Oregon High School Football - Grant Union drops to Riverside/Ione
October 12, 2023: Boardman, OR In Thursday's league game, the Riverside/Ione (Boardman, OR) football team knocked off the visiting Grant Union Prospectors (John Day, OR), by a score of 44-22.
The (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Irrigon (Irrigon, OR). The Knights come into the 2A Special District 4 (9 Man) game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Irrigon was knocked off by Weston-McEwen/Griswold (Athena, OR), 46-20, in a league game.
The Prospectors now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Riverside for a game on Friday, October 13.
