Utah High School Soccer - Copper Hills held off by Layton
October 12, 2023: West Jordan, UT 84088 The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Layton Lancers (Layton, UT) and the host Copper Hills Grizzlies (West Jordan, UT), saw Layton's soccer squad get by Copper Hills by a count of 2-1.
The Lancers now hold a 11-6 record. They play next when they travel to Lone Peak for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 17. Layton will meet a Knights squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Farmington (Farmington, UT). The Knights record now stands at 18-1.
With the loss, Copper Hills drops to 14-4 on the season.
