October 12, 2023: Mt. Pleasant, NC 28124 The Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC) football defeated the visiting Albemarle Bulldogs (Albemarle, NC), 30-16 in Thursday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Tigers face the North Stanly Comets (New London, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, October 19. Mount Pleasant will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Comets enter the bout with a 5-3 record after their 44-6 non-league win over South Stanly (Norwood, NC).
The Bulldogs (2-4) will now prepare for their bout against Union Academy (Monroe, NC). The Cardinals enter the non-league bout with a 2-2 record. In their last bout, Union Academy lost by North Stanly (New London, NC), 48-12, in a non-league bout.
