October 12, 2023: Burlington, NC 27217 The Northwood Chargers football team (Pittsboro, NC), was beaten 38-12 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Cummings Cavaliers (Burlington, NC)
The Cavaliers (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against North Moore (Robbins, NC). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, North Moore achieved victory over Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy (Huntersville, NC), 38-6, in a non-league challenge.
The Chargers now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host American Leadership Academy-Johnston for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 19. Northwood will meet a Patriots team coming off a 47-6 non-league win over Eastern Wayne (Goldsboro, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 5-0.
