October 12, 2023: Jacksonville, NC 28546 The Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC) football defeated the host White Oak Vikings (Jacksonville, NC), 30-20 in Thursday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Croatan Cougars (Newport, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, October 19. Dixon will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record. The Cougars enter the bout with a 2-3 record after their 28-6 non-league win over Swansboro (Swansboro, NC).
The Vikings (1-5) will now prepare for their bout against Richlands (Richlands, NC). The Wildcats enter the non-league bout with a 6-2 record. In their last bout, Richlands lost by West Carteret (Morehead City, NC), 44-7, in a league bout.
