Virginia High School Football - Northside drops to Fleming
October 12, 2023: Roanoke, VA 24017 In Thursday's non-league game, the Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA) football team prevailed the visiting Northside Vikings (Roanoke, VA), by a score of 30-0.
The Colonels (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA). The Cavaliers come into the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Lord Botetourt was beaten by William Byrd (Vinton, VA), 27-20, in a non-league challenge.
The Vikings now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Staunton River for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 19. Northside will meet a Golden Eagles team coming off a 29-16 non-league loss to Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 4-3.
