October 12, 2023: Scranton, PA 18508 Scranton Knights (Scranton, PA) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Varsity Opponent (, ), 2-1 in a league match.
Next up, the Knights battle the Western Wayne Wildcats (Lake Ariel, PA) in a contest, on Tuesday, October 17. Scranton will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA).
With the loss, Varsity Opponent moves to 10-12 on the year. The travel to Immanuel Christian (El Paso, TX) to battle the Warriors in a contest on Tuesday, October 17.
