Rhode Island High School Soccer - Somerset Berkley Regional knocks off Mt. Hope
October 12, 2023: Bristol, RI 02809 Somerset Berkley Regional Raiders (Somerset, MA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI), 7-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Raiders confront the Old Rochester Regional Bulldogs (Mattapoisett, MA) in a South Coast challenge, on Monday, October 16. Somerset Berkley Regional will attempt to better on its 9-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Bishop Stang (North Dartmouth, MA).
The Huskies now have a 0-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to La Salle Academy for a Division 1 challenge on Saturday, October 14. Mt. Hope will confront a Rams team coming off a 2-0 league win over North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI). The Rams record now stands at 8-1.
