October 12, 2023: Fredericktown, PA 15333 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Carlynton Cougars (Carnegie, PA) and the host Bethlehem Center Bulldogs (Fredericktown, PA), saw Carlynton's volleyball squad beat Bethlehem Center by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Carlynton upgrades its record to 10-5 on the year. The Cougars host Bishop Canevin (Pittsburgh, PA) to play the Crusaders in a WPIAL 1A 3 bout on Tuesday, October 17. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 15-1. Bishop Canevin won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Chartiers-Houston (Houston, PA)
The Bulldogs now own a 5-8 record.
