October 12, 2023: Cando, ND 58324 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Cavalier Tornadoes (Cavalier, ND) and the host North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland/Munich/Starkweather] Bearcats (Cando, ND), saw Cavalier's volleyball squad nip North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland/Munich/Starkweather] by a tally of 3-2.
With the win, Cavalier upgrades its record to 8-7 on the year. The Tornadoes host Midway/Minto (Inkster, ND) to play the Mustangs in a B - Region 2 bout on Tuesday, October 17. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 4-8.
The Bearcats now own a 9-4 record. They play next when they host Harvey for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 17. North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland/Munich/Starkweather] will play a Hornets squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Langdon/Edmore/Munich (Langdon, ND). The Hornets record now stands at 6-5.
