October 12, 2023: Highmore, SD 57345 The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Herreid/Selby Wolverines (Herreid, SD) and the host Highmore/Harrold Pirates (Highmore, SD), saw Herreid/Selby's volleyball squad beat Highmore/Harrold by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Herreid/Selby upgrades its record to 16-6 on the year. The Wolverines travel to South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] (Wishek, ND) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Monday, October 16. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 3-4.
The Pirates now own a 10-14 record. They play next when they travel to Crow Creek for a non-league bout on Monday, October 16. Highmore/Harrold will play a Chieftains squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Lower Brule (Lower Brule, SD). The Chieftains record now stands at 5-10.
