October 12, 2023: New Orleans, LA 70115 The McGehee Hawks topped the host St. Katharine Drexel Yellowjackets volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.
The Hawks now have a 17-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Berwick for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 17. McGehee will confront a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Westlake (Westlake, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 14-15.
The Yellowjackets (2-11) will now prepare for their test against St. Martin's Episcopal (Metairie, LA). The Saints enter the Division V District 8 test with a 5-18 record. In their last test, St. Martin's Episcopal was knocked off by Haynes Academy (Metairie, LA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
