October 12, 2024: Flint, MI 48505 The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the Bentley Bulldogs (Burton, MI) and the host New Standard Academy Spartans (Flint, MI), witnessed Bentley's football squad knock off New Standard Academy by a tally of 16-8.
The Bulldogs (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Atherton (Burton, MI). The Wolverines enter the Genesee Area contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Atherton gained a win over International Academy (Flint, MI), 2-0, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Spartans battle the Bendle Tigers (Burton, MI) in a Genesee Area contest, on Friday, October 18. New Standard Academy will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 4-3 record after their 45-0 league win over Genesee (Genesee, MI).
