The Towanda Black Knights (Towanda, PA) football trounced the host Sayre Redskins (Sayre, PA), 54-14 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Black Knights now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tunkhannock for a non-league outing on Friday, October 18. Towanda will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 31-0 non-league win over Montrose (Montrose, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-5.

With the defeat, Sayre drops to 1-7 on the campaign. The Redskins travel to Canton (Canton, PA) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league outing on Friday, October 18. The Warriors come into the outing with a record of 4-4. Canton won 46-34 in their recent league outing against Wellsboro (Wellsboro, PA)
