October 12, 2024: Winslow, ME 04901 Wells Warriors (Wells, ME) followers went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Winslow Black Raiders (Winslow, ME), 42-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Wells advances its record to 6-0 on the season. The Warriors travel to Fryeburg (Fryeburg, ME) to play the Raiders in a non-league battle on Friday, October 18. The Raiders go into the battle with a record of 6-1. Fryeburg won 47-6 in their recent league battle against Brunswick (Brunswick, ME)
The Black Raiders now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Belfast for a D North battle on Saturday, October 19. Winslow will play a Lions team coming off a 42-14 league loss to John Bapst Memorial (Bangor, ME). The Lions record now stands at 0-7.
