New York High School Football - St. Joseph-by-the-Sea tops Cardinal Hayes
October 12, 2024: Staten Island, NY 10312 The St. Joseph-by-the-Sea Vikings football squad scored 30 points and limited the visiting Cardinal Hayes Cardinals to 20 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Vikings now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Monsignor Farrell for a non-league test on Saturday, October 19. St. Joseph-by-the-Sea will meet a Lions squad coming off a 21-14 non-league win over Fordham Prep (Bronx, NY). The Lions record now stands at 3-1.
With the defeat, Cardinal Hayes drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Cardinals host St. Francis Prep (Fresh Meadows, NY) to meet the Terriers in a non-league test on Saturday, October 26. The Terriers come into the test with a record of 0-3.
